| The helm is heavy in your hands and feels cold to the touch. Wisps of shadow gently float off the steel plating and as you bring the helm closer to your eyes for inspection you can feel a voice clawing at the back of your mind. Near where your naked fingers touch the plate you can see evidence of frost beginning to form though the weather outside is rather warm.
The voice returns with greater intensity, “Place it… Place it upon your head. Feel the power within.” You hurriedly place the helm back on the table you had picked it up from and contemplate if it might be better to destroy this after all. | |
