The Lyrpan helm no longer whispers to you. At last! The helmet's stopped talking. It must have finally got tired of giving unwanted advice and unwelcome opinions. What a wonderful start to the day -- glorious peace and quiet, with no unsettling whispers in your ears. It's these little triumphs that make life worth living.
Whispers used to be:
- "I could aid you. Open your mind to me, and I will grant you knowledge which even an archmage could only dream of."
- "Such power... But you could become even greater."
- "The king wallows in luxury, while you fight to defend his kingdom. Such injustice..."
- "The peasants are weak. They need a strong master to lead them."
- "The troops praise you to your face. But what do they say behind your back?"
- "When this war is over, you'll be sent back to the fields and forgotten about. The nobles will have no gratitude to spare on a commoner."
- "With a mighty weapon in your hand and an army at your back, who could stop you? The world is yours for the taking..."
- "You think you've heard my name elsewhere? No... Perhaps you're mistaken?"
- "Your friends are jealous of your glory. Be wary of treachery."
